DeWalt DWS520 Depth-Stop-Knob-Enlargement ;o)
thingiverse
The original knob for the depth-stop function has a severe lack of grip, making it extremely difficult to turn. To rectify this issue, I designed an add-on that will be securely attached to the original knob using a strong epoxy adhesive. In its original design, the outer part of the knob measures 20mm in diameter, while the central area with tiny protrusions is slightly narrower. Since my add-on needs to be centered, its inner diameter is inherently a bit loose, allowing for a snug fit. If you print this design without modifications, it will likely work well when positioned at the outer edge of the knob. However, if you want it to be centered, you may need to perform some post-processing by lightly sanding it and then gluing it in place. My print results are as follows: Inner diameter: approximately 19.9mm Outer diameter: approximately 29.5mm Height: precisely 10mm
