Dewalt driver bit holder
thingiverse
When I purchased a new Dewalt DCD771 Lithium Ion drill, I was surprised to find that it lacked a spring clip to secure a driver bit like my older Dewalt 9.6 volt drill had included. To solve this problem, I designed a small clip that attaches to one of the pre-existing holes in the handle, which already features a threaded insert. There are holes on both sides of the handle, so I created one for each side. I utilized a 4-40 flat head screw, approximately 3/8" in length. If you use a longer screw, it will extend into the slot that the battery pack tab slides into, potentially jamming it. Be sure to print this design with 100% infill for maximum strength and durability.
