Dewalt Drill/Impact Driver Bit Holder
thingiverse
This 1/4" Hex bit holder is securely attached to the opposite side of a drill or impact driver than the belt clip. It perfectly fits Dewalt's DCF887 impact driver and DCD996 hammer drill, but it will likely fit most other Dewalt 20v MAX drills and impact drivers as well. I deliberately chose magnetic bits since friction fits wear out over time. The long bits can be easily inserted from the front, while shorter ones can be simply stuck in from the side. With the magnets securely in place, I was able to shake the impact driver around violently without either bit falling out. However, if you drop it from a significant height, they may come loose. I included both left and right-handed versions. The version shown in the pictures is the right one. Print without supports since there are no necessary support structures. I added small 0.5mm tabs where supports would have been required. Simply use needlenose pliers to remove them when the printing process is complete. Required hardware includes: 4x - 6mm x 2mm circular neo magnets 1x - M3 x 10mm screw
