Dewalt Belt Clip

Dewalt Belt Clip

thingiverse

This is a custom modification I made to fit my Dewalt tools with a belt clip. Since I couldn't find one available here, I adapted this Makita design instead. There are two versions: "_batt" which works when the battery is attached and "_nobatt" which was my initial creation before incorporating battery provisions. I uploaded the first version in case someone wants to modify it differently or use less material for hanging bare tools without batteries attached. I tested this with PLA but would recommend using PETG or ABS, especially in hot environments, as I'm sure PLA will warp under the weight. A 30% infill should be sufficient but you can increase it for more strength depending on tool weight. The screw size appears to be M3x20 which should work fine. **UPDATE**: I added a "_Batt version 2" that includes a small bump on the clip leg to prevent it from sliding off.
