Dewalt Battery Adapter

Dewalt Battery Adapter

I'm quite proud of this simple adapter I built for my Dewalt batteries. Once connected and attached, you have a whopping ~20V of power at your disposal, ready to be used however you see fit. As for me, I utilize it to make my TS100 soldering iron or DPS adjustable PSU portable - a game-changer in any workshop. To create the contacts on the battery side, I opted for blue Blade connectors, while a reliable XT60 serves as the connection point on the other end. For added durability, the strain relief bracket is secured with two M3x12mm screws and should provide a snug fit against 14 gauge siliconized wire. Feel free to modify the original CAD design linked below to suit your specific needs - after all, that's what DIY projects are all about!
