DeWalt Battery 12v USB Charger
thingiverse
I purchased one of those 12v 'lighter socket' type USB chargers from an unknown location and built this device around it. The charger snaps into place with a satisfying click, effectively charging various devices. I utilized two small copper pipes to create the contacts, then pushed them through the holes in the print. Next, I bent them over into the recess at the back and soldered the wires that were routed through the main body to the inner component. This model will require supports for successful printing. If your slicer produces support material that is difficult to remove, I can provide G-code files as needed. For added durability, I opted for a substantial amount of infill, anticipating that this device may be subjected to rough handling along the way.
