Dewalt 20V Tool Cover (V3 18-11-16)
thingiverse
This is a protective cover for the battery compartment of Dewalt brand 20 Volt cordless tools to safeguard the tool's contactors. The model features two holes for mounting to hold the tool upside down, designed specifically for gauge 8 flathead screws. Surprisingly, the model was able to securely hold a cordless jigsaw in place. There appears to be no reason why it should not be able to accommodate any of Dewalt's 20 Volt tools as well, but users do so at their own risk. This could result in injury and/or damage to the tool or property. Most PLA and ABS filaments are non-conductive, but some are, and it's your duty as the user to ensure you're using the correct, non-conductive material. Update: January 11th, 2019 - Added a "With Holes" model, not sure why it was missing.
