This is a protective shield for the battery compartment of Dewalt brand 20 Volt cordless tools, safeguarding the tool's contact points. The design also features two mounting holes that can be used with gauge 8 flathead screws to securely hold the tool upside down, ideal for precise measurements. Impressively, the model was able to accommodate a cordless jigsaw. With no apparent issues or concerns, the model should be compatible with any Dewalt 20 Volt tool; however, users assume all risks when using it.
