DeWalt 20v Battery adapter
thingiverse
So here's my DeWalt battery adapter. I originally created this to run my kids' Power Wheels off of my 20v DeWalt Lithium Ion batteries. It works incredibly well! After you print it, all you need to do is crimp some large male spade connectors onto some wire and insert them into the holes. Be sure to check your battery's polarity first. I print it standing upright, where the flat face that the connectors get inserted is against the build plate. DISCLAIMER PLEASE READ: DeWalt batteries don't have any internal low voltage cutout. This means if you drain the battery all the way down to zero, the battery will become useless and you'll have ruined it. Always check the level of your battery and charge it up once it gets down to one bar or so per the included indicator. Also please make sure to add a fuse - 30A is what I recommend, which should be enough power to do whatever you need with it. Please handle this with care! These batteries can produce an enormous amount of power and can be hazardous if not handled with knowledge and caution. Plans: I'd like to eventually add a mount for an off-the-shelf low voltage cutoff circuit as well as polarity markings.
