The original feet are replaced by this system. The spring head is hemispherical for greater freedom of movement. The efficiency of this system is better if the springs of the bed have been replaced by fixed height adjustment with nuts. In fact, saccades at a height greater than 300mm generate vibrations which, without damping system, generate geometrical defects. The Dew-Dew pods prevent the machine's vibrations from coming into resonance. Example with original pods on a piece of 400mm height (print speed 60mm/s): ![alt text](http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/1535712190816119696.jpg "Without Dew-Dew") Here is a video showing shock buffered by the Dew-Dew pods: <iframe width="1094" height="640" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/WIwTKVjm0x8" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> And here are two images of a 400mm high piece printed with the Dew-Dew pods: ![alt text](http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/1535713460770914845.jpg "With Dew-Dew") ![alt text](http://www.image-heberg.fr/files/1535713588176347083.jpg "With Dew-Dew") It can be seen that vibrations causing geometric defects are better absorbed. Test performed with a print speed of 60mm/s For a perfect result, it is necessary to reduce the print speed from 300mm of height to max 30mm/s.
