This was engineered to securely fasten my Devo 10 receiver to the frame of my quadcopter. It is actually attached under the top plate, with just enough clearance between it and the ESC to allow the RX's wires out. I designed the pattern to reduce weight a little. I have included the original SketchUp file for anyone wanting to customize it!
