I have several DevilBiss nailguns, Models like AFN5, MCS3 Some models are referred to as 'Steel Driver Series' The repair kits are NLA. I don't know what kind of plastic was used for the original Piston bumper #21, head valve Seal # 11 or Top bumper, #04, but these parts tend to fall apart over time. I have an AFN5 and an MCS3 model of the DeVillBiss nailguns, and they use the SAME bumpers, seals. The only difference is the 'joint seal' #22 that the driver blade runs through,. I made up TPU replacements for the parts and they are working well in my units. I'm NOT a professional carpenter, so these guns see occasional use.. But the TPU is holding up well. These parts used to be available in repair parts as # NSK-006 - Top Repair Kit NSP-043 - Piston Stop NSK-008 - Bottom Repair kit WARNING: these are NOT all of the parts needed to perform a complete rebuild on one of these nail guns.. You will likely have to source O-rings, if needed from elsewhere - McMaster, etc. From the two units I was able to find intact examples of these 3 parts in order to take measurements of them. BUT, My replacements are not exactly the same, due to shrinkage, etc the parts may need to be adjusted but these files fit and work in my nailgungs. The Piston Bumper uses a 'rounded cylinder' SCAD object to approximate the shape of the upper section of the Piston Bumper. The original part has more tapered sides and had a flatter top, but the design works.. Getting the seal #11 into the headvalve - air valve #08 can be a challenge.. you will need to heat the TPU up with a heatgun or by putting it in boiling water to soften it up to be able to force the outside lip of seal into the groove in the head valve. There is an STL in the collection that does NOT have the external lip.. BUT you will need to cement that into place to make sure it does not come loose.
