Devil Horns
thingiverse
I crafted these impressive horns for my five-year-old daughter. Attach them to a hair band using four screws, which I cleverly repurposed from light switch covers in our home. If you want to print larger horns suitable for adults, try adjusting the scale of your prints. Keep in mind that the horns must be printed at the same scale as the hair band so that the screw holes line up perfectly. Thanks for taking a look and happy Halloween! #CostumeChallenge Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: Low Infill: 10% Notes: After inserting the object, scale it to 1000% if using Makerbot Desktop. Post-Printing: Rough edges are common. I like to use a nail file to deburr any sharp points or edges. How I Designed This: I created consecutive shapes on cascading planes with different angles and then lofted them together for the horns. The same scenario applies to the hair band part.
