Making a devil potato is all about adding some serious heat to your spud game. First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, because we're about to get this party started. Now, take a large potato and give it a good scrubbing under cold water, making sure to remove any dirt or debris that might be lingering on its surface. Once you've got your potato clean, dry it off with a paper towel to prevent any moisture from getting in the way of our next step. Next up, slice the potato into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick. Don't worry too much about making them perfect - we're going for a rustic, homemade vibe here. Once you've got your slices ready, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Now it's time to get our toppings game on. Take some diced jalapenos and sprinkle them evenly over the potato slices. You can use as many or as few as you like, depending on how spicy you like things. Next up, add some crumbled bacon - because everything is better with bacon, right? Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over the top to bring out the flavors. Finally, drizzle some olive oil over the potatoes to give them a nice sheen. You can also sprinkle some chopped fresh cilantro on top for added freshness. Pop that baking sheet into the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and slightly caramelized. Once they're done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. And that's it - your devil potato is ready to devour!
