To see how the device works and performs, check out the video below: https://youtu.be/zR4O9gsgLx4\r\n\r\nAfter experiencing some misadventures while printing large parts and discovering missing material in certain areas, I decided to investigate the issues with my 3D printer. Upon analyzing the problems, I found that the filament was getting tangled inside the spool and wasn't moving freely. As a result, it got worse during the print process since the Extruder Feeder Motor was pulling it tighter until the filament became jammed.\r\nThis device is designed to work with the Ender 3 (but can be used on any printer) by releasing the tension of the filament around the spool, preventing it from getting stuck. It accomplishes this by slowly and steadily withdrawing the filament before it gets tangled and difficult to roll. By releasing the filament from the spool, the device allows it to unwind freely, reducing the workload for the extruder motor. When the filament gets stuck, the Extruder Feeder Motor starts jumping, resulting in missing material on certain areas of your prints. This device prevents that from happening, so you can run your printer overnight without worrying. Feel free to download and print the parts if you think they might help improve your printer's performance.\r\nPS: Installing this device will reduce your printing space by about 4cm, but in my case, it doesn't matter since I rarely use my printer's maximum capacity of 25cm.
