DEVELOP3D HTC Controller Mount
grabcad
The VR experiment-assisting device for HTC Vive controllers is designed to resolve the issue of controllers resting on the floor. It's compatible with a 24mm tripod post and crafted using Fusion 360, featuring Vive controller model in the setup files as an OBJ. This project includes STLs for printing Controller Mount and Rear Mount parts. Additionally, you need four M5 brass inserts (available on Amazon) and M4 thumb screws (like those from a GoPro), which can be sourced easily. If desired, the mount can be adapted to fit different post diameters using the provided STEP files for editing. The device was built using a Markforged Mark Two printer with Onyx chopped fiber material.
