Split pistol grip into three parts so that the launcher can actually be assembled properly. 2. Added trigger guard for added safety and protection. 3. Made the trigger shorter to accommodate trigger guard, allowing for a smoother draw. 4. Reduced the size of the firing pin to create a strong grip frame divided into three parts. 5. Created a notch on one corner of the firing pin block making it possible to insert it securely in place. 6. Added a notch to the barrel preventing it from grinding against the pistol frame when pivoting. 7. Produced several versions of the barrel, with only the original hexagonal version tested so far. What's needed to complete build. 4x #4-40 screws 1.5" long for assembly 1x #4-40 screw 1" long for additional support 5x #4-40 hex nuts for secure fastening 1x 3/16" metal rod about 1.25" long for trigger pivot point 2x springs from retractable ball point pen (clicky-clicky) for added tension Delrin or nylon rod 6.5mm dia. 20mm long for barrel pivot joint. 2 #6-32 by 1/2 inch long screws for barrel pivot joint. IMPORTANT NOTE: When printing the left and right half of the grip frame, EXCLUDE the dovetail area from supports to avoid filling the dovetail with plastic and needing to file it out. For a clean looking build, turn a Delrin or nylon rod to a diameter of 6.5 mm and 20 mm long. Drill center and tap from end to end with a #6-32 machine screw thread. Get two pan head screws that are #6-32 and 1/2" long. Grind the head or turn on lathe so it fits inside the hole for the barrel pivot joint.. Insert the Delrin/Nylon into the pivot hole on the barrel, attach to the pistol grip frame, then insert a screw on each side to secure the barrel in place. If done correctly, this will look very clean and the barrel will have no wobble. For the trigger pivot point, use a metal rod 3/16" in diameter and about 1.25" long. It should friction fit into the holes in the frame and the trigger. No screws needed and again, makes for a cleaner look.
