DEUTZ Scale O 16.5 is a great little locomotive perfect for mine and industrial use on narrow tracks. Unlike the original plan, this model has been tweaked numerous times to suit its purpose and era. You can spot some DEUTZ models in railway museums or chugging along tourist trains. This project is still a work-in-progress. The DEMO DEUTZ file is simply a placeholder train, allowing you to get started right away. I've created an empty frame for your own motor, with spare parts and extras on the way. The ExhaustPipe file involves cutting off a triangle shape and cleaning up the other end - a simple print job even for basic printers. Next steps include updating the cab with a square bay and adding a chassis to support those wheels. Throughout its long lifespan, many different types of Deutz were built or modified, making each one unique.
