Deutsche Bundesbahn Guterwagen Gls205 / Gms54 in gauge 1 (1:32).I "borrowed" the roof-shape from the "French Wagon" by dagnall53: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2675325The coupling is a modified version of raby's design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1605582Everything else is designed from scratch.I'm aware this design is not 100% accurate. I didn't count all the rivets and bolts. Some of the smaller, insignificant details, are excluded from the design, or simplified. It was my intention to create a design that shows the essential features of these "Guterwagen".Please contact me for further information.Update 21SEP2018:The first prints showed some errors. Corrections are applied. Some changes are made to improve the print-quality and minimize print-time.Update 30SEP2018Modified wheels to allow more precise assembly.Added an initial design for the brake system.Added mounting points for mounting Marklin-style couplings to the floor section.Designed Marklin style couplings.Update 10OCT2018Corrected some measurements.Added brakes.Update 11NOV2018Minor updates executed.Print SettingsPrinter Brand:CrealityPrinter: CR-10Rafts:YesSupports: YesResolution:0.125 mmInfill: 25%Filament: 12-3D Print PETG Black Notes: Use PETG filament to print these wagons. PLA is not stable enough, it is likely to warp on a hot summers day.Print floor upside down.Print the walls with the outside up, at 45' to the printbed, zig-zag pattern and apply "iron" in Cura. (2 end-walls, 2 side walls)Print the roof standing on the bowed end. Select a brim to hold this ~30 cm high part firmly stuck to the bed..Post-PrintingPrint 4 buffers and glue to the floor using 4 mm pins.Glue the body to the floor, slipping both doors in the slots.Mount the wheels on 3 mm axles. Fit 3 x 10 x 4 mm flanged bearings F623ZZ to the ends, and slide the wheel-sets in the slots. For now, mount Marklin couplings. 3D printed Marklin-style couplings will be designed in the near future.Paint and apply decals.Have fun! :-)How I Designed ThisMost of this modell is desinged in TinkerCad. It is just a small collection of basic shapes. ;-)The roof and wheels are borrowed/adapted from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2675325 by "dagnall53".
