<p>This is my interpretation of a German Railways Gbmhs51 goods wagons.</p><p>These wagons were fitted with hooks to be strapped down when loaded on ferry-boats and comply to the smaller UK track profile.</p><p>They were equiped with the "continental" air pressure operated brakes and had additional UK-style handbrakes.</p><p>For operating in the UK vacuum break lines were available.</p><p>Steam heating pipes are fitted, so these vans/wagons could be coupled to passenger coaches.</p><p>Several other railway companies operated similar rolling stock. (i.e. SCNF, SNCB, BR, FS and SJ)</p><h3>Post-Printing</h3><p>ZZ623 bearings are mounted to shortened (60 mm) standard Märklin or LGB wheel sets.</p><p>Use M2, M3, 1 or 1.5 mm metal wire and 1.75 mm filament to join all parts.</p><p>Standard Märklin "hook couplers" or "hook and shackle" can be fitted.</p><p>The frame and roof are split in 2 parts to comfortably fit on the printbed of most 3D-printers.</p><p>The walls and wheel suspension are attached to the frame with M2 screws.</p><p>There is space in the wheel suspension for the bearings.</p><p>The roof can be screwed to the frame with M3 bolts.</p><p>The steps are attached to the frame with 1.0 or 1.5 mm metal wire.</p><p>A complete decall set is available here: <a href="https://www.modellbahndecals.de/Decals-Gueterwagen/Komplettbeschriftungen/Epoche-3-DB/Gedeckte-Wagen-Sonderbauart/-Nassschiebebilder--Gueterwagen-Komplettbeschriftung-Gbmhs-51--DB--Epoche-3--Artikel-Nummer--6580-.html">https://www.modellbahndecals.de/Decals-Gueterwagen/Komplettbeschriftungen/Epoche-3-DB/Gedeckte-Wagen-Sonderbauart/-Nassschiebebilder--Gueterwagen-Komplettbeschriftung-Gbmhs-51--DB--Epoche-3--Artikel-Nummer--6580-.html</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
