Detroit Tigers generic tablet stand

thingiverse

This Detroit-inspired remix brings another unique tablet stand design to life, thanks to the collaborative efforts of mcfada and b1shop. The English D-shaped supports are a crucial component for the inner parts; my initial approach involved using simple rectangles, which I admit was a bit bland. My second solution was more sophisticated - by cutting out the D shape, exporting it as an STL file, and then importing it again with the same design but offset inwards, I achieved a sleeker look. The result is quite impressive, and turning this into a dual extrusion part would be relatively straightforward. Since I've already got my Lions stand printed, I'm unlikely to print these myself; however, I've included screenshots so you can see how they'd look in real life. For good measure, I've also added an image of the Lions stand for comparison's sake. To give users more flexibility, I've also included a STL file without supports - this way, you can experiment with different solutions using Tinkercad and import the design at will.
