Detroit Multirotor Quadcopter Motor Guard / Skid
thingiverse
This is a custom motor guard / skid specifically designed for Detroit Multirotor's 220 frame. The motor mounting holes are standardized, so as long as your frame or motor fits snugly within the guard, it should install seamlessly. skid_low_sphere.stl is an initial version offering 0.48 inches of clearance from ground to frame. skid_sphere.stl represents a genuine spherical design, meaning a sphere was started with and then carved out. This configuration provides 0.6 inches of clearance from ground to frame. To Print Successfully: Align the part so that the cross or skid faces upwards, while ensuring the surface where the motor is mounted points towards the build plate.
