A Bottle Opener Born from Coin and Lion's Pride I've crafted a bottle opener that relies on a coin with an embossed Lions Logo for its functionality, adding a blank one to let you create your own unique design. Using a Sharpie, I carefully added black details, although my hand wobbled slightly, leaving room for improvement. Perhaps I'll revisit this project using the 2x model and two colors in the future. When the time is right, I'll add files for dual extrusion printing. To help you get started, I've included a video tutorial on how to create one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bgg7EkTOeuE If designing from scratch isn't your thing, you can opt for the pre-made version available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:139461 Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Low Infill: 5% Notes: I also printed at standard settings, and to be honest, I didn't notice a significant difference. The low-resolution print took about 15 minutes to complete. Designing This Masterpiece TinkerCAD Importing your base into TinkerCAD is a breeze, followed by importing or creating your design for the bottle opener. Transform that item into a hole and group them together – voilà! You're done. I experimented with adding some flair by removing a large lion silhouette and inserting its outline within the design. Due to size constraints, it's a bit small, but the technique itself is clever. The new beta version of TinkerCAD has been a delightful experience.
