Detolf LED Channel holders

These are clips to secure LED aluminum channels inside a Detolf IKEA case. These are designed to be as compact as possible. They press fit onto the ends of the LED channel, then snap onto the wire frame inside the Detolf case. Wiring needs to be done with these already attached. I used 4.5" sections of wire between each strip, with a 16" length at the top between the sections for each side. There is also a simple wiring channel model you can print in two sections to cover the wire at the top. To assist in positioning the strips use a zip tie underneath the clip.

I used WS2812 LED strips which can be daisy chained together. I used premade 3 pin female inputs and 3 pin male outputs on the end of each section. I then made extension cables to connect the cabinets together. You could shove these through the gaps in the doors, but I modified the base of the cabinet with holes to put the wiring through. If you do that make sure to clear the feet on the base.

These are the LED aluminum channels I used. I bought some about a year apart, the newer ones were a mm smaller than the old ones and it made a difference for the press fit. I included the original and a smaller version of the clip here. I've also included the Fusion 360 design that had a few alternatives I didn't use in it as well. It is not parametric, just change the dimensions in the drawings if you need to make adjustments for your needs.
