As a collector of unusual items, I was drawn to cane / walking stick toppers that I thought would make an excellent collection. My 200+ Buddha remixes are just one example of my eclectic tastes. You can create an impressive solid oak cane / walking stick for around $7. In addition to printing your chosen topper, you'll need a 1” oak dowel (available at Home Depot for approximately $6) and 1” rubber leg tips ($4 for four). If you plan to use it on a different size stick, simply adjust the dimensions accordingly. I print my toppers at 20% infill and then paint them with a deep gloss finish using two-part epoxy resin (available at: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BM9LHRB). To assemble your walking stick, simply glue the printed topper to the finished dowel (sanded and coated) using a suitable adhesive. I personally use some of the mixed 2-part resin for the final coat.
