Detachable Ikosaeder Xmas Star

Some DIY Delight for the Holidays! I built a project using an RGB LCD strip. The new FiberFix Total Glue is highly recommended - it has a fine nozzle and blue light hardener. A must-have! To make this project, you'll need to print 20 beams: 1 top beam and 1 bottom beam, 6 short beams, and 12 long beams. Each beam requires 3 beam snaps, totaling 9 snaps. Begin by gluing all the beam snaps facing outward. Next, attach the bottom beam to the lower Ikosaeder and insert the LCD receiver down into the opening in the beam. Align the beam opening with the attachment inside the Ikosaeder as seen in the rendering. Secure the control box to the Ikosaeder and tie a string to the top of the control box, making it long enough to reach the ceiling. Attach 3 long beams next to the bottom one, then alternate between long and short beams every other slot. Repeat this process for the top Ikosaeder. Mount the top beam with the power cable insert facing opposite the bottom beam receiver. Verify that the short bottom beams face an upper long beam. Glue the 3 Ikosaeders' snaps to the upper Ikosaeders, facing inward. Pass the control box string through the top of the top beam. Insert a LCD strip loop into every beam and check that it lights up before connecting the top and bottom Ikosaeders. Enjoy your handiwork! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg3d0jWWi6s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69RzdZf-Oic No, I'm not sponsored by FiberFix, but my 3 Total Glues are almost gone so...
