The threads on the battery compartment of my Thorlabs Det-210 were severely galled, making it impossible to bias the device with a dead battery. I forcibly separated them since the device was rendered inoperable due to the stuck battery. Realizing that swapping out the original battery for a 9V one would be much simpler, I devised a solution. A 3D-printed piece serves as both an insulator and anti-rotation device, ensuring the 9V battery stays securely in place and doesn't short circuit. To implement this fix, you'll need to disassemble your Det-210 and perform some drilling, tapping, and soldering. The battery connector I used is a Keystone 968, which can be sourced from Keyelco's website: https://www.keyelco.com/product.cfm/product_id/1072
