Destiny Ghost - Fast print / Snap fit
thingiverse
In a disappointing turn of events, Sven Tiegelkamp and Imperial Modding utilized my model, along with many others, for commercial purposes, prompting me to take it down here, thereby removing it from availability to the Destiny community. I created the Destiny Ghost design to be quickly printable and easy to assemble, utilizing single shells that significantly save time and produce a cleaner output. The main body of the ghost simply snaps together after printing. Version 1.1: * I replaced the connecting pegs with square ones, resulting in a stronger and easier-to-print design. * I scaled the design to reasonable dimensions, making it approximately the same size as the real-life ghost, which fits within a 150x150 print bed. The unscaled final dimensions measure 135mm width, 139mm height, and 105mm depth without the stand. * I added the central sphere as an Iges file, allowing you to customize it according to your preferences. Version 1.2: * I corrected a minor mistake on the eye spheres. Version 1.3: * I added a larger eye cap. Stand 1.0: * I included a stand for the ghost. LED Tealight 1.0: * I designed a new back sphere and a corresponding knob to outfit the ghost with an LED tealight. You can find my model on eBay at https://www.ebay.com/itm/171239692713?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&var=470455566681&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. I would like to extend a special thank you to Brian Murphy, whose kind gesture of sending me the first and only tip I've received for my work is truly appreciated.
