Edit: 1/13/2020- My model has just been "verified". The images are not mine; they show the test print made by MMF. It seems that the parts were hot-glued together. Please read the warning at the end of this description - this "buildability" does not scale up to full size, nor is this helmet wearable without more work! Please read entire description! This is the Year 1 "Commando Custom" Titan helmet from Destiny. It's a full-size model and could be made wearable with some effort. I've prepped a Pepekura file before uploading it; the neck hole measures about 4.5 by 6.5 inches. My own neck is 14.5 inches in circumference, and it fits fine. All meshes were extruded to a thickness of 3mm, which has proven fairly sturdy for lightly used pieces as long as they're not sat on, chewed on by pets, or dropped. All parts have been checked by several programs and are water-tight and ready for printing. Printing with 3 walls and solid infill has worked well for my other similar projects, and I plan to use this method for this project too. However, this particular project will require modifications if you have a smaller printer - you'll need to cut the larger files down to your printer's size. MODIFICATION IS REQUIRED. I haven't put in the needed 50-60 hours of work remaining; based on my other helmet projects, it looks like this one will need significant effort. Please be aware that these files are not complete for a wearable helmet - interference between several meshes has not been removed, and as such, these files are not simply a "print and glue" project. To make this helmet, you'll need to remove material from several parts. This would be easiest with a Dremel and cutoff blade or hobby saw. Remember that cutting/grinding makes plastic hot. There's also no current way to get the helmet on your head unless you have a very small head - the "neck and back" needs to be plane-split from front to back, and when assembled, it needs to be attached with magnets, not glue.
