Destiny 2 Symphonic Ghost shell

Destiny 2 Symphonic Ghost shell

thingiverse

This is a simpler version of the new Ghost shell types from Destiny 2. I tried printing it in two halves, but found that masking and painting was a real pain. Breaking it out into eight segments (four front and four rear) allows for individual painting, which makes a huge difference. Once painted, glue four together to form a ring for the front and another four for the back. There are two large round holes on each side segment, designed to hold rare earth magnets that keep the two halves securely attached. The core of this Ghost shell is hollow, requiring you to glue it together after painting. This design allows for plenty of space to fit whatever components you need inside to operate the Ghost once complete. To print the front of your Ghost shell, simply print two "leftseg.stl" and two "topseg.stl". For the back, print two "backseg.stl" and two more "topseg.stl".
