Human: Remixed these things: - DeSteiner Model 1887 - Long stock for M1887 shotgun - 12GA shotgun shell for DeSteiner Model 1887 - Bottle thread patterns Hint: numbers at the beginning of the models names matches to the "M1887_Explosion_Diagram" from the gun original thing. ### 01 body I broke down the original model into 4 pieces: 2 main parts and 2 decorative overlay parts. This saved me a significant amount of time, at least two hours. Advantages: - It made everything easy to clean inside. - I was able to fix the hex holes that didn't fit the lift nuts (#20). Disadvantages: - You need to glue the parts together, which can be tricky if you haven't done it before. - The text on the left side of the body got lost. - You need to polish the sides of the body well or the lines will remain. ### 23 long stock The rifle stock had uneven seams, so I fixed that. I also sliced the model into two parts for printing. Remix source is here. ### 04 barrel extender If you're using the long stock, you'll probably want a longer barrel for a better view. Here are the remixed things: - `04 barrel-tube_pt3 threaded.stl` - The original thing with added thread for connecting the extender. - `04x barrel extender 100mm.stl` - A 100mm barrel extender. - `04x barrel extender 14mm.stl` - A stub in case you want to go back to a short barrel. - `04x tread test.stl` - A multi-purpose model, see description below. You can print `04x tread test.stl` and `04x barrel extender 14mm.stl` for a fit test. Just make sure your printed details will connect properly. Here's an alternative way to extend the barrel: glue `04x tread test.stl` to the original barrel, but you'll need to cut the tip of it. Remix source is here.
