<p>Add desiccant to your filament heater/dryer to bolster the drying process.</p><p>Inspired by Colin's Sunlu Filadryer (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/70032-sunlu-filadryer-humidity-reducer-silica-gel-holder), this basket fits in the center hole of your filament, safely holding one or more packets of silica gel desiccant and allowing air to circulate. The friction-fit lid provides a bit more room than a screw top.</p><p>Version 2 has thinner walls, a thinner lid and slightly less height for much faster printing and a better fit.</p><p>I stuff these with 20-gram packets of silica gel. The vendor says 10 grams of silica gel is adequate for a 5-gallon bucket. Roughly calculating, the Sunlu filament dryer is about 2 gallons capacity, so this setup delivers 500% drying power.</p>
