This replacement plunger is designed for a budget-friendly, metal desoldering pump with an internal tube diameter of approximately 16mm. The pump itself is well-crafted, but the plastic plunger tends to break in two after about 30 uses due to its thinness at the point where the two metal rods are inserted. To ensure a snug fit between the metal rods and their respective holes, simply heat them slightly before pressing them into place. A Fusion 360 file is also included for further customization or modification.
