DesktopHero Thief (Dungeon Twister Original proxy)

My first experience with the DesktopHero 3D Beta was incredibly promising! The free 3D printable character maker can be found on Kickstarter, where it's being developed by Andrew Stockton as an open-source tool. The project's assets are designed by Arian Croft, which explains their sturdy and beautiful look. You can find more proxies for Dungeon Twister at http://www.thingiverse.com/agademer/collections/dungeon-twister. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 20 Notes: The support structures were difficult to break, but the mini figure was sturdy and wouldn't break during printing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to print the fine details on the face, which may have been caused by the head's tilting. How I Designed This: DesktopHero allows you to choose the different parts (bone groups) to select associated 3D models (assets) and modify the pose of every part in a simple way. I highly recommend trying DesktopHero, and Andrew is offering access to the Beta for those who make a donation on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/desktophero3D.
