I wanted a sturdy base / holder for my Kenwood TH-D74 Radio when using it indoors, or a more secure way to hold it in my car. So I created this stand and after several revisions, settled on this design. Features include: - Sturdy, stable stand that won't tip over easily. - Screen is angled for easy reading. - Holds an extra spare battery for added convenience. - Power cord has built-in strain relief for safety. - Cradle's grooves allow the radio to be installed with or without a battery. - All ports are accessible and the speaker grill remains unblocked. - For added stability, attach the radio's belt clip to securely grip the stand. - A 3/8" wooden dowel can be used as external antenna strain relief if needed. - Can use a Velcro strap to keep it in place on the center console armrest in the car. I used the following parameters: PLA, 50% infill, .18 layer height After printing, attach some felt or rubber feet on the bottom for surface protection. Enjoy! P.S. I modified this design for an Icom 51a radio. Thing item 2957444
