A simple desktop speaker stand designed specifically for Bang & Olufsen Beovox CX 100s but adaptable to various other speaker designs. The idea behind this project originated from a discovery that raising speakers improved sound quality at tweeter level. Initially, speakers sat flat on a desk, but one day I noticed the sound was better when tilted back by about 10 degrees. Since the speakers were too heavy for their size and couldn't be raised further, a solution had to be found. To achieve this, various items were placed under the front edges of the speakers to tilt them back, resulting in an improved sound but also a cluttered appearance that was difficult to maintain. This led me to design simple stands that could tilt speakers back at a fixed angle. These stands feature a lip on the back that securely hooks onto the bottom edge of the speaker, preventing it from sliding off. The vertical scaling capability allows users to adjust the tilt angle by modifying the stand's dimensions in their slicer software. For instance, scaling up 200% in the z-axis while keeping x and y axes unchanged will approximately double the tilt angle. Similarly, users can scale all axes proportionally to accommodate larger or smaller speakers, ensuring a customized fit for different speaker designs.
