Desktop Qubit - Bloch and Poincare spheres
thingiverse
This is a pair of desktop models, one representing the Bloch sphere - a Qubit - and the other showcasing the Poincaré sphere - polarized light. To aid in visualizing rotations without mentally juggling concepts, I created these tangible representations to hold and manipulate. Construction consists of lasercut acrylic or plywood pieces glued together, with a 120mm acrylic sphere housing everything. These spheres are often found on eBay as "bath bomb" molds.
