I built a cozy perch for my feathered friend to lounge around me instead of flying off in all directions across my desk. Now he has a secure spot to sit and relax. The base is sturdy enough to provide stability. I created the base without any infill, stopped the print process, sprinkled sand over it, then resumed printing as it hardened up. For the top, I printed with 50% infill density. You may need to do some gentle sanding on the bottom to get a smooth finish or just print it all at once. Whatever you choose, enjoy quality time with your bird!
