This is a customizable desktop name plate shaped like a coin that can be printed directly onto your workspace. You can personalize it with a name, choose from various font styles, add a logo, or pick a blank option to create a custom design. The blank setting allows you to import the flat plate into OpenSCAD using a link provided for further customization. Alternatively, you can use a Mod Podge Image Transfer method as shown on a shared website. To create your own logo, ensure that your blank plate is 60mm x 60mm x 1mm in size and 2mm thick, resulting in a total height of 3mm. You can then add your image on top. **Print Settings** * Printer: Choose from various options * Rafts: Doesn't matter * Supports: Doesn't matter * Resolution: Set to 0.1 to 0.25 mm * Infill: Use 20% infill **Post-Printing Notes** After printing, carefully separate the leg ring from the body by sliding a knife edge between them. Be mindful of the hinge at the top. **Separating the Leg Ring and Body** To separate the two parts, slide a knife edge around the space between them. The design was created using PTC Creo, with several elements exported as STLs that were then converted to OpenSCAD modules. Logic was applied to make it configurable and provide various options. This project serves as an example for a Lockheed Martin internal design competition focused on office accessories, also exploring working in both PTC Creo and OpenSCAD environments.
