Desktop Nail Toolbox / Organizer
thingiverse
This organizer I created for my wife keeps her nail tools organized and easily accessible at all times, ensuring they are always within reach when needed. It's designed to be adaptable, suitable for a variety of applications beyond just nail care. The organizer features six spacious compartments, each precisely 65 mm in depth, perfect for storing small items like nail clippers, scissors, and other tools. Below are the step-by-step instructions for 3D printing this design: 1. Print at a 0.3mm layer height for optimal resolution. 2. Use a 25% infill density to minimize material usage while maintaining structural integrity. 3. Optimize your prints by setting up three distinct perimeters, each one slightly offset from the last to achieve maximum wall strength. 4. Employ a nozzle diameter of 1.75 mm and select ABS filament for this project, as it's ideal for producing durable objects like organizers. 5. Heat your build plate to a temperature of 250 degrees Celsius before placing the print. Maintain a bed temperature of 85 degrees Celsius throughout the printing process to ensure a stable foundation.
