Desktop Mic Stand
thingiverse
I crafted this compact desktop microphone stand in Tinkercad with ease. The stand functions flawlessly and appears to be holding up remarkably well under normal usage. A 7/8-inch diameter dowel connects the two printed components securely. I designed the top portion of the stand so that a 3/8 bolt fits snugly, allowing users to attach their mic clip with confidence. I hope this design proves useful to others and sparks creative applications. Please share how you plan to utilize this microphone stand. Enjoy experimenting! Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 5% for the base, 10% for the top piece Notes: I printed the base component with a 5% infill to minimize filament usage and save time, and it seems to be holding up well. I printed the top component with 10% infill. Post-Printing I had to clean up the top component slightly because I chose not to use supports during printing. How I Designed This As a relatively inexperienced designer and 3D printer user, this model is far from perfect. I carefully measured the dowel size I wanted to use, as well as the bolt diameter, to ensure accurate fitment.
