Desktop Lamp for Monitor Arm
prusaprinters
I made a lamp for my desktop that mounts to my monitor arm. The monitor arm is based around a pole with 35mm diameter and the lamp simply sticks on top.Everything except the LED strip I used is printed. The arm and foot are glued together. I glued the rails too but if you oversize them by a few percent they could maybe hold with friction alone. The LED covers are just 0.8 mm thick strips of white filament that slide in the rails' grooves.Cable is routed through the arm to the back.Im pretty happy with the result even though my extruder started giving up during the prints which shows in print quality. Should be easy to customize with a different foot or base. Just make sure theres a circular 35mm hole to accomodate the connector for the arm.
