This 4-tier hydroponic system remains a work in progress, with ongoing refinements. Users can choose to plant small pots or integrate them directly into the system itself. Originally designed to accommodate the Ultimaker 2 platform, I discovered that printing at 98% scale is necessary for optimal performance. The system supports normal to high-quality print settings only. To ensure proper function, it's crucial to verify that all components are watertight, facilitating seamless siphon operation. A 5-gallon bucket design is also included, tailored to fit a standard 11.75-inch ID bucket. I've designed a clear or natural print cover to complement this setup, although it's not currently necessary. To test the siphon system, I printed a miniature version of the container; it successfully functioned as intended. However, adjustments will be required to fine-tune the bell siphon exit port and pump settings. This is essential for achieving a balanced flow output versus input ratio. Ideally, the output should consistently exceed the input volume, preventing overflow and ensuring that the system fully drains before refilling again.
