Desktop Headphone Holder

This project originated from a colleague's request to solve the issue of limited desk space in our office, where large headphones take up valuable room. We wanted to create something that would allow us to hang our headphones under the desk easily and have them within reach. The solution we came up with is a simple yet effective design. The top section slides over the edge of the desk, while the bottom section holds the headphones securely in place. Our desks are 30mm deep, so we set the model accordingly, but you can adjust it to fit your specific desk height needs. We initially used these holders for our Damson Headspace headphones, but they're also sturdy enough to hold larger and heavier headphones with ease. After refining the design through several prototypes, we were able to eliminate weak points and create a shape that's both functional and aesthetically pleasing. When printing this model, I found that using a consistent edge on the print bed produced the cleanest and most reliable results. My own print settings included a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer height, 40mm/s speed, 190°C temperature, 60°C bed temperature, 20% infill, 0.8mm shell, and 1.2mm top/bottom layers. I'm excited to share this solution with you!
