I am still uploading and adding files for this project. Please feel free to point out any steps I may have missed or questions you have about the process. These plans are designed to build a high-performance Laser CNC, which I have successfully built three times before. They have withstood significant abuse and cost around $500 to construct. The machine utilizes high-quality precision components. The engraving and cutting area measures approximately 10 inches by 14 inches. It features two laser mounts and a selector switch for easy operation. The system is designed to accommodate a 15-watt blue diode laser, which can be purchased for about $120, as well as a 0.5-watt UV diode laser, available for around $50, allowing for beautiful engravings on various materials like wood, mirrors, and stone, as well as food items. It also has the capability to cut certain types of wood, dark plastics, felt, fabrics, paper, vinyls, and tortillas. The CNC is equipped with built-in filtration using a Type R HEPA filter. The machine is controlled by a GRBL kit from Amazon, which costs around $20. It utilizes three Nema17 stepper motors and three 16-tooth GT2 pulleys along with GT2 belt for smooth operation. If you are located in the Everett or Washington area, I would be happy to assist you with any bracket-related issues and provide guidance on assembling the machine.
