The goal was to create a basic model that can be easily linked to an Arduino or Makey Makey circuit at nearby schools, involving students in the process. Conductive paint was applied to each drum kit part, while sound programming was handled by control devices. Next, students would modify existing sounds or sample new ones, eventually designing their own custom models.
