Desktop Diorama

This project is intended to help students stay organized while working at home and away from their classmates. The diorama itself contains scenic aspects to remind students of the outdoors and brighten their environment while working inside. It can organize pens and pencil in the central volcano while intertwining reminders or notecards in the surrounding environment. During development, the most challenging aspect was finding creative ways to store supplies that fit into the diorama. If I could redesign the model, I would have included more environmental features to account for a wider arrange of storage spaces. 3D printing would strengthen the model's as it would indicate what areas may be too thin or frail to print effectively. It would also allow me to test the effectiveness of the stand designed to hold notecards or a phone in the rocky portion of the model.
