I finally took matters into my own hands and created a custom holder that keeps all those essentials within easy reach on my cluttered desktop. It holds two pens, two sizes of sticky notes, two Swiss Army knives, a small bottle of Refresh eye drops, a few paper clips, and miscellaneous items like stray batteries. You might not need an organizer like this one, but you can customize it to fit your needs by adding whatever fits into the openings. I printed it quickly at 10% fill using PLA material. Addendum: I made some changes to make it easier to access those last few sticky notes - now you can grab them with just your thumb or finger. I also enlarged the smallest rectangular opening and deepened the round hole for better accessibility.
