Deskhaus Apex Pro 90deg Cable Snake Bracket

The Deskhaus Apex Pro Max has a cross bar preventing the chain from mounting on the inside of the back leg, and some tops on it might not make it possible to mount it on the outside, or the desk position might be such that mounting it on the outside causes the chain to collide with something. The Solution:This clips onto the foot of the Apex Pro Max providing a place to mount the lower end of the cable chain so that the chain can lower right/left of the desk instead of to the back/front and hit your walls.Requires:4x M3 Heat Set Inserts (3-4mm tall and 5mm diameter including teeth, I believe it is 3x4x4 technically as the diameter doesn't include the teeth)4x M3x8 Machine Screws1mm felt/foam pad (optional)Install the 4 inserts into the base. Put the (optional) pad on the inside of the base, clip it to the foot of the desk. It's a really tight fit and hard to remove so check placement first (but it can be removed without issue). If you don't use the foam pad, it still won't slide up and down the foot but it might scratch the metal (or it might not). Screw on the cover with the 4 M3x8 screws. Printing:Print the clip vertically, just as it is in the STL with supports on the little tab that sticks into the cable chain as well as between the “latch” gap on the side. Nowhere else needs supports. It must be printed this way to the bump that slots into the cable snake is strong. 45% infill is ideal.Print the cover flat as it is in the STL, with full supports on the inside. Takes about 2.5 hours to print both parts on an X1 Carbon, maybe 4x longer on your typical Ender or Prusa style printer.
