This desk was designed in Blender with an impressive focus on realism through cycles rendering. The set includes two textures, both meticulously crafted to ensure an authentic experience. Each texture boasts a rich, detailed description with specific features like a diffuse map for precise light interaction, a bump map to create a tactile surface, a normal map for nuanced depth perception, roughness (also known as edgemap) to simulate imperfections, and metallness map for shining metals. Every aspect of these textures is carefully UV mapped to achieve a seamless appearance. Notably, the desk features two main textures - a high-quality wood texture for its body and an intricately detailed metal texture for its frame. For handling components, I employed the principal base shader, tweaking parameters to capture realistic wear and tear: the roughness of handles was set at 0.3 to give them a sturdy feel while the rubber, requiring more elasticity, received a 0.5 roughness setting and 0.2 spec for its characteristic flexibility.
